As a half semester Independent Study project in my junior year of college, I chose to work more on my favorite type of design: sports branding and logo design.  The North American Soccer League seemed like a prime target for creativity as it was a mid-sized league with two 2014 team additions, and the popularity of soccer in America was growing rapidly.  By the end of the course I had multiple logo and kit designs for 6 potential expansion teams in unexplored professional soccer markets.
